This page is a tribute to Alfie George Turner, who was born on September 29, 2023 to parents Emma and Jim but sadly passed away on October 12, 2023. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Alfie entered the world prematurely at 24 weeks and 3 days, born at Peterborough City Hospital before being immediately transferred to the Rosie Hospital neo-natal intensive care unit (NICU) at Addenbrookes in Cambridge. Unfortunately due to a series of complications he only made it to just short of his 2-week birthday before passing away.

The care and compassion that Emma, Alfie and Jim received from the medical teams at both hospitals was truly amazing. Nurses, Doctors and Consultants went above and beyond under very challenging circumstances to help, care for and comfort us all through the most difficult of times.

With this in mind we have set up this fundraiser in Alfie's memory to help provide support to the Addenbrookes Charitable Trust, who help to fund the NICU wards at the Rosie. Any donations in lieu of flowers will be greatly appreciated and go a long way to help support this incredibly worthy cause.
